The euthanizing old folks pitch - responses?

Who can counter this euthanizing baloney that's going around about "the" HC reform bill.  See below.  What are they twisting? 

 I had a woman practically spit on me last weekend about this at our Sat Morning Rally.

This came to me from a member of my extended family.... :-)   Granted she is a staunch republican.  

I can't make an informed response, however.  Who can?

This is not a joke, people.

 

Our parents now on Medicare are the first ones targeted. The elderly will be counseled as to how to purposefully deny self-care in order to pass on without healing efforts; they will be calculated by age for treatments; also on pages 16 & 17 of the resolution you will be forced to switch to a local program with limited choices.

 

This is being rushed through the House and Senate. WHY???
